Dr. Jim Schermerhorn

Women's healthcare is Dr. Jim Schermerhorn's passion. He has been living and working in the East Dallas area for 40 years. The moment you walk into the office, you'll be treated like family. Dr. Schermerhorn provides the most up-to-date medical care, from obstetrics to minimally invasive treatments like da Vinci robotic surgery, aiming to get you back to your life quickly. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Schermerhorn stayed in Dallas to complete his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Baylor University Medical Center.

When not in the office, you'll find Dr. Schermerhorn and his wife Anne, puttering in their yard, eating in favorite East Dallas restaurants, planning Sunday Dinner for the family and attending their grandchildren's many activities.  They are excited to announce the arrival of grand number four!
